Registration Open for USA Judo National Team Winter Camp

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Train with the best in preparation for the 2023 season at the USA Judo National Team Winter Camp in Plano, Texas from Dec. 16-20.
Senior, Junior and Cadet World Team members will come together for four days at this year’s Winter Camp which will be held at Eastside Dojo.
Athletes will participate in twice daily mat sessions with the following clinicians:
- Marti Malloy (San Jose, Calif. / NYAC / San Jose State University), 2012 Olympic bronze medalist and 2013 Senior World Championships silver medalist
- Yasuo Otoguro (Las Vegas, Nev. / International Sports Center), 2022 U.S. Senior World Team Coach and former Olympic Coach for the Chinese Taipei Judo Federation
- Colton Brown (Bridgewater, N.J. / NYAC / Colton Brown Training Center), two-time Olympian and 2022 U.S. Junior World Team Coach
Participation is open to all USA Judo athletes born in 2007 or earlier who hold a minimum of a brown belt ranking.
Athletes are asked to arrive on Dec. 16 with training sessions beginning on the morning of Dec. 17. There will only be one training session on Dec. 20 in order to allow for athletes to depart later that day.
The host hotel for the camp is the Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas Plano North which has offered a discounted room rate of $92 per night.
Athletes are responsible for reserving their own rooms. USA Judo will provide ground transportation between the host hotel and daily practice sessions.
Rooms must be reserved by Nov. 27 in order to receive the discounted rate.
