USA Judo Athletes' Advisory Council Nomination Period Extension for U23 Representative

USA Judo advises all 10-Year Athletes and 10-Year Plus Athletes that the USA Judo Nominating & Governance Committee has extended the nomination deadline for the U23 Athlete Representative position. The new deadline is 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, December 5, 2025, in order to provide voting members additional time to submit nominations for qualified athletes.

Revised Timeline

● December 5: Deadline to receive U23 nominations via on-line form

● December 5 to 9: NGC to confirm nominees are willing to run as nominations are received and confirm e-mail addresses for nominees

● December 10: Post all eligible nominees, along with statements of intent and other candidate submissions on the USA JUDO Athletes’ Advisory Council Election Page.

● December 12: Send Athlete Voter Lists and AAC Candidate Lists to Election Buddy.

● December 16: Ballots sent to Registered Athlete Voter Lists by Election Buddy (Independent third party election company).

● December 18: Deadline for voting

● December 19: Votes tabulated by Election Buddy and certified results are delivered to the Chairman of the NGC to announce winners.

● December 22: (if necessary) Run-off election date if there are any ties.

Please note that the deadlines will be strictly enforced and it is critical that the information provided is accurate to prevent delays and potentially losing the ability to vote due to providing inaccurate information.
