Alexander Knauf wins Gold and Christian Konoval Bronze for the USA on day two of Judo at the Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia
On the second and final day of individual judo competition at the inaugural Junior Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia, USA Judo’s Alexander Knauf won gold in the men’s under 90kg division punching his ticket for an automatic berth to the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. Christian Konoval added a bronze medal to USA Judo’s medal haul with his performance in the men’s over 100kg division.
The Mixed Team competition will take place today, Sunday, November 28th, the final day of judo competition. The multi-sport Junior Pan American Games opened on Thursday, November 25 with the Opening Ceremony and will go through December 5, 2021.
