President's Cup Awards 630 Medals

(Irving, TX) – A total of 261 gold medals were awarded on Sunday during the 2025 USA Judo President’s Cup in Irving, Texas. The one-day competition took place at the Irving Convention Center and saw Cohen Brothers Judo Club (Vernon Hills, Ill.) defend their team title with 36 medals (16 gold, 12 silver, 8 bronze). Ki-Itsu-Sai National Training Center (Coconut Creek, Fla.) finished second with 26 medals (12 gold, 11 silver, 3 bronze).

Eight athletes achieved the feat of reaching the podium in both the junior and senior divisions, including Linda Dervisoglu (Dallas, Texas / Eastside Dojo) who medaled in all three divisions by winning silver in the cadet 48 kg division, and taking the bronze medal in both the junior and senior women’s 48 kg.
Winning gold in both the junior and senior competitions was Iya Sadanchikova (Pahoa, Calif. / San Jose State University Judo) who accomplished the feat in the women's 48 kg competition.
Other judoka who were double medalists in the junior and senior divisions were David Vinner (Chatsworth, Calif. / LA Judo Club), Aaron Jen (Milpitas, Calif. / San Jose State University Judo), Cademon Haddad (Evergreen, Colo. / USA Judo National Resident Team), Marley Garland (APO, N.Y. / High Noon Judo), Chloe Williams (Stafford, Va. / High Noon Judo) and Rose Marie LeCorre (Charlotte, N.C. / USA Judo National Resident Team).
