Effective January 1, 2019, any Recommendation for Promotion rokudan and above will only be reviewed and considered by the USA Judo Rank & Certification Committee during their in-person meetings. The in-person meetings take place in conjunction with the USA Judo Senior National Championships and the USA Judo Presidents Cup Championships.
