UT Martial Arts Club Judo Tournament / TN State Championships

The annual University of Tennessee Martial Arts Club judo tournament was hosted on the University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus on November 9, 2019. This was the 29th year for this tournament and it also served as the 2019 Tennessee State Championships.

This year 76 competitors represented 22 clubs from 8 different states. Additionally, 22 referees attended from 9 different states including a special visit from Santa Claus. There were divisions contested from under 6 years old through masters.

The 2019 Junior Team Championship was awarded to Waynesville Kodokan Judo, from Waynesville, NC.  The 2019 Senior Team Championship was awarded to Lion of Judah Martial Arts Fellowship from Camden, TN.
