NCJA Western Collegiate Championships

On February 16, 2019, 71 collegiate judo athletes met at San Jose State University to compete at the 2019 NCJA Western Collegiate Championships. 

The event has been running for five years, with the purpose of building a stronger west coast collegiate program. 

The following Universities participated in the Western Collegiate Championships:

University of San Francisco (USF)
UC Berkely (UCB)

At this year's championships, Continental Referee, Dave William helped officiate along with referees from the University. Their hope is to build up our college level referees and build into the bigger USA Judo program.
