New Event Result

The USA Judo Infantil Pan Am Team brings home 17 medals from Guyaquil, Ecuador.

On day one of the Infantil Pan Am Championships the U13 Team gave a good performance bringing home 2 gold medals, 2 silver, and 4 bronze. Some notable performances were Nicole Cancela and Shavon Gonzales both beating their Brazilian opponents in the finals.

On day two, the U15 Team had an impressive day winning 4 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals. Some of the notable performances of the day include:

• Christopher Velazco with his tenacity throughout the day, multiple golden score matches, and a brilliant final over Brazil.
• Alex Semenenko, who finished the day with a gold over silver medalist and teammate Randey Gil! Way to go guys!
• Dominic Rodriguez displayed his ever-growing arsenal of throws and capped off his day by beating a tough Ecuadorian in the final for gold! Dominic has earned 3 gold's and 1 silver in the last 4 Pan Am's!
• Karlee Carrouth dominated her opponents en route to the gold medal match; after 2 minutes into a hard-fought contest Karlee threw a beautiful ippon, in dramatic fashion, for the win over a tough Brazilian opponent.
