Pan American Championships Kata

    The United States will bring home a total of 14 medals from the 2018 Kata Pan American Championships.

     

    There were a total of 40 team from eight different countries that competed at the Kata Pan American Championships this week. The number of teams representing each country (maximum 9) are: United States: 9, Brazil: 8, Canada: 7, Colombia: 5, Costa Rica: 4, Argentina: 3, Dominican Republic: 2, and Mexico: 2.

     

    The United States ranks #1 in medals won by country.

     

    Number of medals won by country:

    USA:  6 gold, 3 silver, 5 bronze (total 14)

    CAN:  2 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze (total 8)

    COL: 4 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze (total 7)

    BRA: 2 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze (total 4)

    DOM: 1 gold, 1 silver (total 2)

    ARG: 1 silver (total 1)
