USA Judo Senior National Championships Come to Spokane This Weekend

(Colorado Springs, CO) – More than 350 athletes will vie for gold medals at the USA Judo Senior National Championships in Spokane, WA this weekend.

2023 USA Judo Senior Nationals Live Results

The tournament will feature Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls competing in the senior and visually impaired categories as well as veterans (ages 30+), IJF-Junior (ages 20 and younger), brown belt, novice and kata (forms) divisions.

Athletes from more than 35 states are expected to compete in Spokane, including judoka from more than a dozen clubs throughout Washington.

Competition will be held at The Podium Powered by STCU on Saturday and Sunday with the schedule as follows:

Saturday, May 20
8:15 a.m.
Shiai Competition Begins
(Senior, Veterans, IJF-Junior, Visually Impaired, Novice and Brown Belt)

6 p.m.
Senior Shiai Gold Medal Finals
(Olympic Non-Round Robin Weight Categories Only)

Sunday, May 21
10 a.m.
Kata Competition Begins

Spectator admission on Saturday is $12 at the door for ages 13+ and $6 for ages 9-12. Admission for children ages 8 and under is free. Admission to the kata competition on Sunday is free for all ages.
