2023 New York Open Mixed Team Championship

(New York City, N.Y.) – The New York Open Mixed Team Championship will be held for the first time since 2019 when this elite competition returns to the New York Athletic Club on Saturday, March 25.
Competition will begin at 10 a.m. with finals held after 3 p.m.
Teams of three men and three women will face off with Olympians and World Team members from seven countries battling for gold.
The 2023 edition of the event will allow judo fans to see world class athletes from France, Germany, Israel, Poland, Great Britain, Canada and the United States competing in a mixed team format with athletes in the following weight categories:
Men’s 73kg, 90kg, +90kg
Women’s 48kg, 57kg, 70kg
France won gold in the mixed team event at the Tokyo Olympic Games with Germany and Israel each claiming bronze.
Team USA will be coached by 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Marti Malloy (San Jose, Calif.) and two-time Olympian Colton Brown (Bridgewater, N.J.). The full athlete roster for all nations will be released in the weeks prior to competition.
Tickets are available at nyopenjudo.com for $25 each and include access to all matches. Additional VIP ticket packages and passes to the banquet dinner held after the tournament also are available online.
