President’s Cup to Feature 23 Current World Team Members

More than 900 athletes from around the nation, including 23 current World Team members, will fight at the President’s Cup in Irving, Texas on Sunday, November 23.

Competition will include athletes fighting in the senior, junior, veterans, visually impaired and novice divisions at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas.
The tournament begins at 8:20 a.m. and concludes at approximately 8 p.m.
President's Cup admission is $20 for spectators 13 and older and $15 for those ages 9-12. Children 8 and under are free.
There is also a two-day discount for those attending both Saturday's Dallas Open and Sunday's President's Cup. Two-day admission is $35 for spectators 13 and older and $25 for those ages 9-12. Children 8 and under are free both days.
This year marks the 12th straight year the President’s Cup has been held in Irving with the competitions being highlighted by 2025 Senior, Junior and Cadet World Team members, including:
- Kanta Ueyama (Burbank, Calif. / Los Angeles Tenri Judo Dojo +100 kg), Cadet World No. 2, 2025 Pan American Cadet Champion and two-time Cadet World Team member
- Daniel Liubimovski (Staten Island, N.Y. / NYAC / Colton Brown Training Center / 100 kg), Junior World No. 4, two-time Junior World Team member and 2023 Cadet World Team member
- Emily Jaspe (Hialeah, Fla. / Ki-Itsu-Sai National Training Center / 63 kg), Junior World No. 5, four-time Junior World Team member and 2023 Cadet Worlds fifth-place finisher
- Sebastian Teran (Pompano Beach, Fla. / Ki-Itsu-Sai National Training Center / 55 kg), Cadet World No. 8 and 2025 Pan American Cadet bronze medalist
- Amaris Bell (Pembroke Pines, Fla. / Ki-itsu-sai National Training Center / 44 kg), Cadet World No. 10 and 2025 Pan American Cadet Champion
- Oleksandr Nyzhnyk (Los Gatos, Calif. / USA Judo National Resident Team / Nakano Judo Academy / 90 kg), Junior World No. 11, 2025 Senior World Team member, three-time Junior World Team member and 2025 Pan American Junior silver medalist
- Aubrey Genereux (Port St. Lucie, Fla. / Ki-Itsu-Sai National Training Center / 52 kg), Cadet World No. 15 and two-time Cadet World Team member
- Samuel Abdelmalak (Punta Gorda, Fla. / Ki-Itsu-Sai National Training Center / 50 kg), Cadet World No. 20 and 2025 Pan American bronze medalist
- Chloe Williams (Stafford, Va. / High Noon Judo / 70 kg), two-time Junior World Team member, three-time Cadet Junior World team member and 2025 Pan American Cadet bronze medalist
Nyzhnyk will be joined in the competition by his Senior World Team teammate Melissa Myers (Burnt Hills, N.Y. / Jason Morris Judo Center / 70 kg), as well as by his Junior (20 & under) World Team teammates Liubimovski, Jaspe, Ueyama, Williams, Daniel Shulgin (Philadelphia, Pa. / Yawara Force / 81 kg), Iya Sadanchikova (Santa Clara, Calif. / San Jose State University Judo / 48 kg), Mackenzie McPherson (Miramar, Fla. / Budokan Judo Club in South Florida / 52 kg) and Jayda Fulp (Fort Worth, Texas / Chandler Judo Academy / 78 kg).
The future of USA Judo will also be on display in Irving as 16 of the 20 members of this year's Cadet (17 & under) World Team will showcase their skills on the mat. They include Abdelmalak, Teran, Ueyama, Bell, Genereux, McPherson, Williams, Liam Kesler (San Jose, Calif. / CJ Judo / 60 kg), Adrian Cohen (Vernon Hills, Ill. / Cohen Brothers Judo Club / 60 kg), Anthony Reyes (Round Rock, Texas / Ki-Itsu-Sai National Training Center / 66 kg), Ivan Baranau (Levittown, Pa. / Yawara Force Judo/Sambo Club / 73 kg), Derick Thomas III (El Cerrito, Calif. / Berkeley Genco Judo Club / 81 kg), Nicholas Zadvinskiy (Staten Island, N.Y. / Cranford JKC / 90 kg), Ellianna Abbott (Rayne, La. / Colton Brown Training Center / 57 kg), Lily Oh (Ashburn, Va. / SportJudo / 63 kg) and Chrystal Monthe Noussi (Fort Worth, Texas / Fort Worth Judo Club / 70 kg).
