World and Pan Am Teams to be Selected at Junior Olympics in Bedford Park

(Colorado Springs, CO) – The Wintrust Sports Complex in Bedford Park, Ill., will play host to the future greats of American judo as the 2025 USA Judo National and International Junior Olympic Championships take place June 20-22. The tournament will also serve as the trials for the 2025 Cadet World Championships (Aug. 27-31 in Sofia, Bulgaria), the 2025 Junior World Championships (Oct. 23-27 in Amman, Jordan) and the 2025 U13 and U15 Pan American Championships (Nov. 28-30 in Mexico).

More than 850 judo athletes are expected to compete in the three-day USA Judo Junior Olympics. The winner of each of the weight divisions (non-open weights only) in the regular IJF-Junior and cadet categories will earn automatic berths to the Junior and Cadet World Teams, respectively.

Tickets are available on-site at a cost of $20 per for a one-day pass or $40 for an all-event pass for individuals 13 and older. Discounted passes are available for $15 for a one-day pass for children ages 9-12 or $30 for an all-event pass. Children ages 8 and under are admitted for free.

Judo competition begins at 8:15 a.m. daily with events scheduled as follows:

Friday, June 21 (National Championships)
Regular Bantam, Intermediate & Cadet Categories

Saturday, June 22 (National Championships)
Regular IJF-Junior, Juvenile & All Novice Categories

Sunday, June 23 (International Championships)
All International Categories
