REGISTRATION: | 9:00am - 9:30am at venue |
ENTRY FEE: | $30.00 per competitor |
WEIGH-IN: | 9:00am - 9:30am at time of registration |
ELIGIBILITY: | Judo players age 13 or older, currently members of USA Judo (USJI) or ATJA. |
CLINIC: | A clinic explaining basic rules, penalties and signals will start at 9:30 AM. |
SCORING SYSTEM: | Pool System by close age/weight. All players will have at least 2 matches. All matches: 3 minutes. |
We will contest teens, seniors and masters divisions only. This is intended to be a fun small, possibly first, tournament for recreational or novice judoka who might hesitate to enter a large event with a large number of elite-level competitors. Although, if there is demand for it, we can add "elite only" divisions for such players. Coaches, please let us know. We welcome new players, referees, and tournament workers. This is a fund raising event, to benefit club facility improvements.
