Denver Judo Spring Tournament

    The 2019 Denver Judo Spring Tournament was held Saturday, March 16 at Johnson and Wales University. The event was well attended with 147 athletes, ages 5-57 years old, from Colorado, Wyoming and Canada. 

    The Denver Judo Spring Tournament has been going on for about 10 years now (the fall tournament, the Denver Classic, will be in its 19th year this year)!

    The Men’s Open Division was won by Jesse Butler of Elite Performance Judo Center. The runner up was Garmaa Shinebayar of Denver Judo. 

    In the team event, Denver Judo finished first in the overall standings, followed by Gracie Judo and Ju Shin Kan Judo.
