Personal
Although Mutia began her career first as a judo athlete in 2013, she soon added wrestling to her repertoire, competing from her sophomore through senior years at Millbrook High School where she earned All-Academic Team Honors in the Capital Eight Conference for her senior season in 2016 due to her 4.7 GPA and a courseload that included seven Advanced Placement classes throughout her high school career.
Mutia competed at her first Paralympic Games in Tokyo and established herself as a medal contender for the Paris Games after a bronze medal finish at the 2022 IBSA Worlds.
