Myers Elected to Board as Team USA Athletes' Commission Alternate

Melissa Myers has been elected to the USA Judo Board of Directors as the Team USA Athletes' Commission alternate.

Three-time national champion Melissa Myers (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) has been elected to serve on the USA Judo Board of Directors as the Team USA Athletes' Commission alternate. Myers will fill the position vacated by Nicole Stout.

A native of Yorkville, Ill., Myers received her bachelor's degree in health and human physiology from the University of Iowa. She moved to New York to train at the Jason Morris Judo Center. Myers is a three-time national champion, four-time Pan Am Team member, three-time World Team member and multiple-time international medalist. Outside of judo, she is a licensed New York State massage therapist with a specialty in sports massage.
